I thought the call was horrible, but the "explanation" of the  VP for officiating was worse.

I think all sports leagues should clearly come out and state when their refs made an error. In this case, they made an error in overturning the call of the nearest ref to the play. I believe they would become more credible entities if they just came out and said "human error", "we messed up", 'the officials made the wrong call" or whatever. They have done it in the past and I just do not get the VP of Officiating trying to explain away this gaff when what he is saying is so obviously false.

My prediction was Denver, 45-20. I may have to revise that to something like 52-10. The Pats have enough obstacles to begin with because of all the injuries, then they go and make things harder on themselves with turnovers. Ridley should probably be traded.

Seems you misheard, they huddled to agree that pass interference should only be called if it doesn't actually happen.
