This team needs someone to step up and score the ball. Pierce looks off, and we aren't going to win shooting 3's against a zone.

That rebound by Green and put back by Sully is exactly what we need. Zone is much harder to rebound in.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I don't like Sully posting up Ezeli.

I don't think Sully can score consistently on defenders like Ezeli. Too big, too long. Too disruptive to Sully's shot attempts.

Sully did a good job to stick with it there and get the hoop after getting his shot blocked but that is not something I want Boston to keep attacking. Let Sully post up David Lee or Carl Landry or Draymond Green. Not Ezeli.

Sully posts up, players pass him the ball (not Pierce), and the Celtics get easy baskets. It's a simple game.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Is there any explanation for the defense being so bad? I am starting to believe that we picked up some guys with low basketball iq who will never get it.

KG is not Kobe.  He doesn't complain about coaches.  He respects Doc and follows along.  The man was like Iverson in his prime: he almost never left games.  From what I can infer, he loves to play.  You think he wants to sit after playing the first 4.5 minutes?

No, sorry, I did not mean to imply KG would Kobe to the media. He definitely would not. But he would tell Doc he wants to play and he would not look so calm when he comes off the court. Doc, I believe 100%, would let KG play if KG demanded to play. The only way I see KG losing that argument is if he is injured. But if KG ran off the court and said to Doc, "Coach, Im feeling it tonight, let me play" I guarantee Doc would get him back in quickly.

Really, that's what you're going on?  You're guessing that KG would implore Doc. Actually, how do you know he hasn't and Doc declined?

I don't know that anymore than you know he has. I am speculating, which is a common blog activity. KG is a fighter and I simply do not believe with the Celtics struggling he would just placidly sit on the bench like a puppy cause "Doc told me to." I also do not believe Doc would insist on it without KG's acceptance. That three year deal was specialized - KG's words - to allow him to return.

We are both speculating on what goes on between Doc and KG. I would not be surprised if either of us are wrong...ok I would be a little surprised if I am only because of KG's character. But if he is complaining to Doc, asking to play and being denied, then I will agree that Doc is an idiot. Seems highly unlikely to me that conversation is happening.

Whatever dude.  You're making too assumptions.  Yes, that's a blog activity but you're treating it like it's fact.  You answered criticism about KG's minute pattern with ridiculous assertions that you knew that KG had to devise part of it with no foolproof evidence.  Whatever.

Sad when a rookie has to carry your veteran NBA team.

What the heck is happening? They were down only 23-21, then it was 44-25?!?
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'

People, take notice. Courtney Lee is playing very well. He and Sullinger are keeping us in this game.

15 points at halftime is far from insurmountable.
