Here's how confident I am in Green's ability to perform consistently for anything but a crappy team:

Putting together a team of all rookies and second year players the decision on who to release and who to keep as my 13th player came down to him and Jonas Jerebko. And it took a long time to come to the decision to release Jerebko.

Luckily I was able to turn Gerald into Rivers.

Nice work, nick.

Lol

I think Green will be fine on my squad. A  guy who 48% from the field and 39% from three is cool for some minutes in my opinion. Especially when you shoot 10 shots per game and over 3 from 3.

I'm not asking him too be a savior. Just fill in at the two and provide some bench scoring whether it's via jumper or a backboard breaking earth shattering make the crowd go crazy and the other team call a timeout dunk.

Will he be in the game with under 5 minutes to play in a game 7? Unlikley. But he will get some run and make some baskets.

I see it for you too, Kane. The Green-SJax tandem gives some different looks to the lineup for you.

If nick is going all in on TOTF, he's got to get Rivers.

I like it for Kane too.

A Calderon/Green/Durant/Blake/a center lineup will be a sick fast break, offensive team. It will have constant ESPN play of the night highlights.

It will also give up tons of points but that lineup will be fun to watch.

I agree. When I did the Griffin trade I never intended on keeping Rivers, but thought Houston would want him.

Lol they better be good in the halfcourt then bc we are getting to the line a ton with KD and BG.

And the Boxers team is complete and done. Redick is gone. No more trades.

I love this team. I am going to have a ball with the presser.

So happy I blew that team up. This young group is LOADED with talent and in a couple/four years would DOMINATE.

Wait, I didn't have a chance to offer Kurt Thomas for Redick. Is it too late?

Trade Confirmed:
Boston trades Austin Rivers
to Houston for Gerald Green

nice move for houston they get a young guy who is not afraid to hit the big shot now if only they could get beal

You mean take the big shot. 43% shooter in one year at Duke. 21% shooter in two Summer League games. 12.5% from behind the arc. Not confident in Doc's kid's chances to be more than a chucker.

Utah trades Chris Andersen

Houston trades JJ Redick

Confirmed.  And with that, a 5th rounder is traded straight up for an 11th rounder.

You beat me to it. My joke offer involved the 12.1.

Who proposed eliminating the TOTF concept altogether?

Kind of a sham. Houston would've been better off just keeping Redick on the roster, sending him home. But the guy's not Andray Baltche.
