It shouldn't be a 3 team trade, Rockets could easily trade JJJ (separately) for a 2nd round pick or a non guaranteed contract.

If Moore becomes guaranteed for Houston, trade him to a team still playing in SL!

Yeah, I don't get why a 3rd team needs to be involved right now. Considering how long rumors of a Terry 3-team S&T scenario dragged on to no avail, I'm worried the third team may scuttle the whole thing.

JaJuan shouldn't think he'll be able to get out of Houston easily. Word is Rockets like him and will keep him.

Don't know why Johnson is making such a fuss about Houston.
They drafted other young PFs worried about opportunity...

Same situation as Boston practically.

In Boston he's third or fourth on the depth chart.  In Houston he's seventh.  I'd say that's a pretty big difference.

In Boston he is two injuries away from playing a bit.  In Houston he is the black plague away from playing a bit.

3rd or 4th in the depth chart? What?

KG - Wilcox - Bass - Green - Sullinger ---------- Johnson

And we're not done signing players yet.

I was just couting power forwards.

If you count power forwards and centers, he moves further down Houston's depth chart too.

I would think a few of those guys you listed will play Center for us.  I would not advise playing a lineup with only four guys.

They may play Center, but they're PF in actuality. The point is, regardless of what big guy goes down, all those guys will be ahead of Johnson for playing time regardless of position.

Anybody know how/why this might be a three team trade as was reported just a while ago?

And my point is that Houston has even more of those guys ahead of him.  Call them power forwards, call them centers, whatever.  You start two big guys at once.  He is two or three injuries from being in our rotation.

Pretend KG, Sullinger, and Bass all get injured.  Do you suggest we play Wilcox and Jeff Green 48 minutes each?  He's probably at least in the rotation as of today with only two injuries.

The Rockets like JJJ, but sources say JJJ will request trade. I guess playing along side Jeremy Lin isn't intriguing. lol

Tired of these rumors. The Celtics need to stop playing around and get the deal done. Try and bolster the bench.

Assuming the deal goes through:

Celtics trade:
Kendrick Perkins
Nate Robinson
MarShon Brooks
E'Twaun Moore
Sean Williams

Celtics receive:
Jeff Green
Nenad Krstic
Fab Melo
Courtney Lee
Brooklyn 2014 2nd rounder

Is that right?

Very good news.

I just get a chuckle that the Lakers fans go crazy over acquiring Steve Nash and possibly D12, while we get pumped for landing Courtney Lee.  But it's a very nice signing.

yea ..I was thinking the same thing

None of it has paid any dividends just yet, so you could argue OKC has won the deal thus far. But that is a deal I'd be willing to make.
