Call it the Big Z rule, but the new CBA closed a loophole and now requires teams that trade a player who is then waived by his new team to wait a year (or until his contract expires) instead of 30 days before they can sign the player.

Are there any teams with summer league games left?  Maybe trade him to a team with a game left for a heavily protected second round pick.

No. The NBA closed that loophole with the new CBA. We'd have to wait until July 1st 2013

It shouldn't be a 3 team trade, Rockets could easily trade JJJ (separately) for a 2nd round pick or a non guaranteed contract.

If Moore becomes guaranteed for Houston, trade him to a team still playing in SL!

JJJ should be very happy to going to Houston. After they trade all their players for Dwight Howard, he will get to play alot b/c they wont have no one left on the roster!!

Same situation as Boston practically.

In Boston he's third or fourth on the depth chart.  In Houston he's seventh.  I'd say that's a pretty big difference.

In Boston he is two injuries away from playing a bit.  In Houston he is the black plague away from playing a bit.
