I've seen nothing to indicate that he is anything other than what he's proven to be for 4 NBA season. So he'll probably play 34 mpg, 14 points, 5-6 rebounds (less if more SF), 1.5 assists or so (which is similar to but slightly less than Al Harrington last year got, with Al player FEWER minutes and also making LESS money), shoot .450/.350/.775, TS around 54% (which would be his career high). Someone like Nic Batum put up similar numbers this year, but again in less minutes with MUCH more efficient shooting. Even Thaddeus Young puts up similar total numbers, but needs 8 less minutes to do so, and he makes less per year and his contract was in the old, more player-favorable CBA.

He was a good player in OKC for two years but that all seems to be offset from 2 months of mediocre play on the celtics after having no time to get comfortable or acclimated in the system. Why shouldnt he get the same he was gonna make last year? He is completely recovered from his heart surgery. Hes gonna make you guys eat your words.

My prediction would be that he would still get around 15 pts but that he will do a little better on rebs, say 7.5 rebs.I think he could score more but won't on the Celtics and Doc will have him focused on defense and rebounding leading to improvement there. I also think he is going to prove to be a player who is a good passer, not so much in terms of getting assists but rather just in terms of keeping the ball moving and getting it to the right guy at the right time.I think that is the player that Doc is going to ask him to be and I think he can be that player while staying comfortably within himself and his ability. He needed 36 minutes a game to do that. I don't see that happening in Boston. He's being paid $9 mill a year, he's young, and PP, KG need rest. If he plays under 30 mpg than it was a total waste of money IMO.He was only playing 24 minutes for the Celtics when he came. With the depth the Celtics put together, I don't see anyone but Rondo and possible Pierce playing more then 34 minutes a game.
