A little bewildered.
He was offered twice as much money, has spent the past five years in Boston with PP and KG, loves doc, has his sons doctors in Boston, loves the fans, and Boston is going to be a contender this year.
So why Miami? I'm sure he believes he'll be getting more playing time there, but really, what is he going to do? He's going to sit behind the three point line and watch Wade and Lebron play while he is reduced to Mike Miller status.
He is also obviously never going to supplant Wade in the depth chart so best case scenario for him is playing SG or SF when one of those two play the point. They're great at creating penetration, but neither are remotely close to Rondo as a passer.
I'm just shocked Ray left for the enemy. He's going out of his way to wave the finger at the Celtics.
