Yep.

Ray Allen can get hit by a bus for all I care.

Will now be my most hated player on that dirt-bag team.

Has this been confirmed by anyone legit?

Micky Arison is Heat owner. Unless if his account was hacked, I'm 100% sure he is reliable source

Sam Amick ‏@sam_amick

The agent for Ray Allen, Jim Tanner, confirms that he has agreed to join the Miami Heat.

Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA

Ray Allen has informed Boston that he has decided to sign with Miami, league source tells Y! Sports.

Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA

This, after Heat owner Mickey Arison just tweeted a "Welcome to Miami No. 20."

Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA

One source close to Ray Allen said in past few hours, "Ray's thinking about another ring, golf, sun as a way to end his career."
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I can't help but think Jason Terry's arrival pushed Ray Allen out the door.

Ray was sending bad vibs to Danny about returning, and Danny did the smart thing, lock up a good replacement thinking as he should TEAM FIRST .   If Ray was really serious , he'd signed or told Doc and Danny before JET was signed.

He gets no quarter from me ,  he is now part of the sworn enemy ...the hated HEATLES .....

Don't let the door swat ya in the but tt on the way out.

Woj is now reporting it.

What a shame.  :(

it is pro basketball not college. let's move on now. I understand your frustration and yes the heat just got better because now when Lebum James or D wade drive and kick it out they could have Battier or Allen to sink a 3. they will be even tougher to beat now IMO. We need to counter this move and keep getting better ourselves. We had best make sure the next time we face them in the playoffs we kill them inside. We had a advantage at center and PG. we need to use it better next time.

3 year 9 million deal. He took half the money to go to the enemy, I hope he suffers every minute he puts on a heat jersey.

I'm not Angry with Ray. He's free to do what he wants. He was basically a gun for hire the last year or 2. He was trade bait a number of times. And now its time to hire a different gun.

I am quite sad though. Ray is a class act, and brought a ton of great memories during his time in Boston.

Best of luck to Ray with anything that isn't winning a title. Thanks for the last 5 years.

I never thought "if you can't beat em, join em" ever applied to basketball.

I don't respect it, Ray.
"You're skating on pretty thin ice around here, McGee!"
"Sounds like the ice's problem."

2 for the Show!
GO CELTS!

Don't blame him for wanting to play for a contender.  He has a far greater chance of winning a title (and getting significant minutes) in Miami.

Boston tried shopping him multiple times and thought they had him traded at the deadline for OJ Mayo.  Apparently he doesn't get along with Rondo.  Oh well.

Good luck, Ray.  Beat the Thunder.  (Btw, my friends in Seattle are thrilled that Ray is playing for the good guys)
