I don't understand why people are so quick to say if we sign both Bradley will be traded.
Terry may not be a true point guard, but he initiated and ran the offense a lot of the time in Dallas, particularly in clutch time- it was him not Dirk who ran the show and took the big shots.
Again, he isn't a true point guard but neither were Moore or Dooling last season, both of which are obviously not as talented as Terry.
If we have a 4 man rotation of Rondo/Bradley/Terry/Ray that would work fine. Also Doc has on more than one occasion ran Ray out there at the 3 in a small lineup. IIRC a Rondo/Robinson/Ray lineup worked surprisingly well.
Run Bradley in a full court press at all times during the game and bring Terry/Ray for instant offense off the bench. Even those two along with Rondo would be pretty great as the shooting would be fantastic and give Pierce/Bradley a rest. We would probably have to have KG and Stiemsma with that lineup, but it would definitely be an interesting look. Heck think Rondo/Terry/Ray/Green/KG. KG and ROndo woudl have to anchor the defense, but that would be a really fun lineup to watch. Tons of spacing and shooting, and KG would do nothing but shoot uncontested mid range jumpers and focus on protecting the rim.
Bottom line, this team needs talent, a ball handler, and some explosiveness. Terry offers that along with clutch shooting. He's a poor defender but as a sheer scorer, it'd work out great, would rather have him than Ray honestly.
