All the quotes I heard about KG hating to play the four came in the early spring just after he had recently been officially asked to play at that position much more full time.
I wonder if he still feels as strongly about that now that he just finished one of the most awe inspiring stints of his career, or anyone else's career really, playing as a center. His run through the second half of the season and the playoffs was legendary.
I'd put it like this to Kevin; "I understand your attachment to being considered a power forward. You more or less single handedly revolutionized the position. That trend of the long, athletic, agile, quick, skilled power forward, you are the prototype. That will be a big part of your legacy. That won't be forgotten. Now you have a perfect opportunity to add something new to that legacy. The history books will be able to add a chapter, saying; 'in his mid thirties, Kevin Garnett, one of the greatest power forwards to ever play the game, switched to the center position, and dominated there for a 3 and a half year stretch until he retired at close to 40 years of age.'"
I want Kevin Garnett to be our center for the next three years.
