just saw this rumor and i remembered that someone said danny and kevin mchale were sitting side by side at some workout. we all know theyve had dealings in the past.
Steve Kyler: Hearing Houston Rockets have a deal in the works to move Sam Dalembert and possibly the 16th pick. Twitter
additionally, when u think about it, danny wants a center so kg can come back and play pf. obv first choice is camby, but danny also wants a pick to grab sullinger... he looks at team needs.
we need rebounding. this trade and a little luck with sully falling to us in the draft would be perfect.
now, for all those who say danny wouldnt have the pieces to make the deal happen: danny wants potency rather than a lot of good (semi-good players) see the big 3 trade where we only had rondo, kg, pierce, ray, and perk left after the dust settled.
how many players will we have to play with this season? rondo, kg, pierce, bass, stiemsma, pietrus, ray ray, bradley, dooling, green, wilcox, sean williams (who is signed thru next season), moore, johnson, 2 first round draft picks... and hollins

but seriously, how many players fit on a roster?

then u factor in that the celts are interested in sonny weems, and apparently jamal crawford... either danny is gonna go for a huge trade or he wants to start a football team.
i know it's speculation at this point, but it sounds like danny would def give up a bunch of them for that trade... (of course, rondo, kg, pierce are untouchable - and prob bradley too)...
and why would the rockets do that trade?
According to sources with knowledge of the situation, they may have found a way to move one of those picks. Samuel Dalembert says all the right things in talking about wanting to be back in Houston, but his relationship with Rockets head coach Kevin McHale could have been better, and partially because of that, he is no longer considered to be in the Rockets’ long-term plans. The fact that he can become a free agent in July makes him an attractive trade piece, either for a team looking for a decent starting center, or for a team looking to create cap space. HoopsWorld
what do u guys think?
