What an awful playoff performer.  I don't know if the playoffs got him spooked or what, but he's just not getting it done.  It also seems that he has a low BBIQ.  He looks clueless on the court.  Now we know why Orlando traded him. :(

Lol

These are my favorite kinds of threads. OP is down on Player X, time passes, Player X has a beast-mode game, OP comes back and delivers the mea culpa. Not quite as epic as the "Avery is garbage" thread, but you know.

I should make a "Ray is a washed-up old man" thread or something, so he can drop eight threes on my head in Game 6.

You know, I won't take back my earlier words I said about Bass being a playoff choker, because he'd earned them.  I will say though, after these last few games, Bass has really redeemed himself.

The man has been on a roll now for a few games, and his 3rd qtr tonight may have saved our season.  His 18 pts in the qtr was more than Philly scored as a team. This just makes me even more mad at Doc for not playing Bass at all in the 4th qtr of game 4.  Itwasa horrendous coaching decision.

Bass flat out brought it tonight!

Embarrassing huh? Happens to all of us.

hopefully the last 2 games are a sign that Bass is back to his regular season self...offensively that would be big

now if Pietrus can get back to hitting the open 3, and ray can give us 10ppg I think we are in good shape

Bradley isnt done, he will play again this post season, he even traveled with the team for game 6, I expect him to play. Give him a few days.

Already been done around here (several threads knocking Ray).

I'm expecting Mount Walter Ray Allen to erupt any day, now.

Just wait.

We know it will happen only question is when?

Ask PHI...their team is TERRIFIED of the man. I haven't seen anyone else guarded quite as closely as Ray.

They will slip up, and when they do....

That is why Ray Allen, even in the state he's in, is SO VITAL to BOS's opportunity, here.

Just his THREAT alone is enough of a distraction.

Bass had a career game.  One game.

How many times did we have to hear them say that Tony Delk once scored 40-something?  He was still a role player and marginal starter.  Ditto for Bass.
