I hope they can bring him back as a 6th man or such. He is a good guy and fits into rotation certain extinct. I think he is more of a bench/backup.
I'd Like to see Jeff Green have a full off season practice and full year to work with the Celtics team and see what happens. He has the skill, just needs to adapt and find his role and game.  I think he can be signed as a steal for a couple years anyway.

If he signs for a short contract with low money, resign him.

If he is looking for a raise or 5 year deal, move on.

Thank you Bass for showing up in the last game.  Now, I still don't want you back unless you step up for the rest of the playoffs.

I think Bass reads these boards.  Maybe my saying this will keep him playing well. :D

agreed.  his performance in the playoffs is definitely dropping his value so a reasonable, short-term deal may be feasable.

I still think he's a solid backup PF and if he was coming off the bench with Green, Steimsma (or solid back up big man), maybe Pietrus/Ray and a good backup PG, that would be a really solid bench.

Like Bass a lot ;but it depends on if he wants to cash in. He is in the prime of his earning potential. He has played on a lot of pretty good teams is a good locker room guy. Hard to find that kind of guy cheap. May not be able to keep him.

Don't doubt Bass. Because his name is Bass, he really, really doesn't care for fishing. Bass was straight balling tonight! Straight balling!

I do love Bass and want him back.  However, I do hope they don't do something stupid and give him a long term mega deal.  He's a great jump shooter and a great finisher, but if some team wants to pay him star money, the C's have to be smart and let me go.

If KG and/or Ray are back next year, I'd love Danny to overpay Bass for a year or two to stick around (like 2 years 15-20 million).  Too much, but maybe enough to persuade him to turn down a lesser 5 year deal.

this good,  U needed to see Bass come though with a killer Playoff game..... this is the type of smaller team he can excell against.   The tall-long teams give him fits.

GREAT game  Bass !!!!!
