doc's rotation for this second quarter has been horrid
Agreed. Why he kept Bass on the court despite picking up fouls, shooting horrendously and turning the ball over like a siv was beyond me.

It it just me or does it seem like the Celtics are playing down to the 6ers level?

I don't think the Celtics are playing down to the 76ers level. They are just shooting terribly. They have gotten numerous fantastic looks, most shots they have taken have been open, but they are just missing.

Alright, people, based on how this first half has gone, one thing is clear. It's as we all knew. We are the better team. However, right now, due to a number of mistakes and wide open misses, this is a much closer game than it really should be at this point.

However, we can very easily fix this problem. And there are a lot of possessions where we had easy attempts at the basket that we just failed to finish on. Even with our mistakes, our defense is there for the most part.

We just need to get a better offensive flow going. And I sincerely hope Bass doesn't get discouraged and stop taking his jumpers. Those are very good shots for him, and you like to see him continue to take those open jumpers. We should be up right now by nothing less than 6 points, and preferably we should be up by 8 or more. However, that isn't the situation we find ourselves in. We need to make some improvements. Bradley being hurt is a real killer. I hope he can come back to this game somehow...

Jrue Holiday has 13 first half points including 3-3 from long range.  Also 3 assists and 2 steals.  Almost single handedly keeping Philly alive for stretches.

And Rondo was covering him for several of those shots, twice he got lost in the rotations standing in the lane while Holiday hit open 3's

Bass took 12 shots in the first half... 12 shots to score 8 points. I don't like this.  :-X
Take me where the Boston Celtics fans roam free without judgment from my enemies.

Yeah the C's are better. C's just need to start hitting from the outside even at an average pace, and they blow the game open.

Avery going down for us is a huge loss

Our defense has shown up and Rondo has shown up which is good.

I hope Bass starts hitting those shots. We need a medic.

Seriously, I was against giving Hollins more minutes cause he is a black hole on offense...but Bass has become worse than a black hole on offense.

In case anyone was wondering who the #2 Rondo hater was on this forum.

Ray Allen/Bradley/Dooling were guarding Jrue Holiday on all but like 2 of his baskets. They just showed highlights of him on TNT and Rondo wasn't guarding him for any of them.

Kenny Smith is making a great point. ROndo is in control. The Sixers dont know what is coming. Is he passing, is he shooting. The game appears to be in slow motion for Rondo.

Its fun to watch a player this clever.

Bass 16 minutes......KG 14 minutes.....Why Doc?  Bass 3 for 12 and 3 fouls.....Why Doc? If Bass fouls out then Doc can't play him.

I'm just going to throw this out there.

We're 5-2 in the playoffs, currently with home court advantage, leading at halftime. We dodged the #1 seed, and the #2 seed just lost their 3rd best player. Many of our players are hurting, but none have been lost. Avery Bradley emerged from nowhere. Rondo has been posting triple doubles like usual and KG is playing out of his mind. Ryan Hollins is even contributing and we turned a D-League pickup into a viable rotation guy.

A little optimism wouldn't kill us, folks.
