Jrue Holiday has 13 first half points including 3-3 from long range.  Also 3 assists and 2 steals.  Almost single handedly keeping Philly alive for stretches.

And Rondo was covering him for several of those shots, twice he got lost in the rotations standing in the lane while Holiday hit open 3's

In case anyone was wondering who the #2 Rondo hater was on this forum.

Ray Allen/Bradley/Dooling were guarding Jrue Holiday on all but like 2 of his baskets. They just showed highlights of him on TNT and Rondo wasn't guarding him for any of them.

Quick, someone on Red's Army made a mistake when talking about Rondo. Rondo needs you to go call that guy who made the mistake a hater and defend his honor!

Hurry up or his honor will never be defended again!

Do you and bostonman go to therapy together and discuss how Rondo haunts your dreams?

Rondo doesn't haunt my dreams at all. He is a fantastic player.

It's his inconsistency that drives me up the wall. Almost as high you your consistent defending of him no matter what anyone says about him.

question...am I the only one who thinks, based on his scoring and playing tough D on joe J that sasha should get some minutes and rest pp......? Pietrus aso.....

I think that would be a great move.  Pietrus hasnt really lived up to his defensive rep in the playoffs and hes not hitting his 3's.

give sasha a shot

He was guarding him for one three pointer for sure and just ignored Holiday and stayed in the paint. I KNOW I saw that.

No. I'd also like to see Sasha get some of those minutes. Pietrus has looked good on D tonight though.

Seems like a broken record of what the Celtics need to do.  Just like against the Hawks, they just need to come out strong in the 3rd quarter and get out to a double digit lead.

Can't keep letting inferior teams hang around late with the chance to steal a key game.  No way the Celtics should be only up 2 when holding a team to 36% shooting.

Celtics are now 4-25 from 3 point range in this series ouch...

true, but pietrus being injured pretty much makes him ineffective.  hes a replaceable role player not a star.

His inconsistency drives me nuts too. But he is more plus than minus, especially in the playoffs. And with Rose injured, there is only 1 player that is hands down better than him at the point, and he's not available (CP). I'm not 100% sold on D Will as a leader of a championship team - especially at the price tag required.

Keys to the 2nd half:

-Attack the hoop
-If you have a layup (Rondo), don't pass it 15 feet back out
-Guard the perimeter 3-pointer
-Set better screens
-Make a darn jump shot! lol.

Bass 16 minutes......KG 14 minutes.....Why Doc?  Bass 3 for 12 and 3 fouls.....Why Doc? If Bass fouls out then Doc can't play him.

What game are you watching? you are actually crossing fingers for Bass to stay in the game? wooo!! He hasn;t been the finest thing for my eyes to see with thos bricked no_pass jumpers.

Rondo easily could have had 13-14 assists that half
