C's will have to go with the small ball lineup with Sasha at the 3 and Pierce at the 4 to get back in this.

ANYONE scoring in the paint on putbacks is always a problem..plus they have the added dimension of dishing to a free roaming chandler now...we take them out one at a time....

Chandler had 2 offensive rebounds. The Knicks had 14 three point shots. The problem wasn't rebounding. The problem was the perimeter defense.

You love some Stiemer...I respect that...but Stiemer getting more time isn't going to slow down Steve Novak and JR Smith who are 11 for 15 from three in the first half.

How about JJJ on Melo...he won't be able to shoot jumpers onm that kid.....and he can keep up with him too....Hey Doc......!

JJJ could guard Melo if he didn't rack up 3 fouls in 2mins.

What I don't get is Doc's logic with KG and PP.  I know RA and MP are out, as well as the fact that we will need to go small in the 2nd half, but why are are the two on pace to have heavy minutes?  I think Doc looks at it like this: "Well, they got a game off, so now they have to play a lot."  We have a game tomorrow against a playoff team(I know they don't have Dwight, but still)!  I just don't get it.

They are hot and I think some of guys are a little tired.  They are killing us on the boards and have taken 16 more shots than us.  I think we are dead in the water but hope for a come back.

Smith and Novak are killing us.

NY has more rebounds because they hit 70% of their shots and Boston couldn't get defensive rebounds when the Knicks were constantly hitting shots.

Well...i think we are talking about 2 diff things....i just want chandler shut out....steamer can do that...but no it won't solve the 3's.....pp can work on novac if he WANTS to...but he has to want to.....same with whoever is covering smith.

Celtics aren't playing their best, that's for sure, but if the Knicks are going to make contested 30 foot jumpers with no time on the shot clock, there may not be much else to do.

I feel better about the C's performance tonight than I did vs Toronto. It's not good, but sometimes it's not all about you.
