How about JJJ on Melo...he won't be able to shoot jumpers onm that kid.....and he can keep up with him too....Hey Doc......!

JJJ could guard Melo if he didn't rack up 3 fouls in 2mins.
When you lose, the easy part is to see who gives up. Giving up is very simple. You basically take your stuff and walk away. To continue to work and to continue to compete is one of the most difficult things, especially when you really don't have anything - KG

  • You say when......
Where's the steamboat?
I was just thinking that..HE can keep chandler out of the paint..!
Newsflash!!!!

Chandler in the paint isn't the problem in this game.

C's will have to go with the small ball lineup with Sasha at the 3 and Pierce at the 4 to get back in this.
ANYONE scoring in the paint on putbacks is always a problem..plus they have the added dimension of dishing to a free roaming chandler now...we take them out one at a time....

Oh yeah this is a total small ball game. But Steamer has less than a minute logged in the box score. I was concerned there might be an injury.

celtic bench = 0 pts

knick bench = 39 pts

we're losing because of both offense and defense.

It's a good thing they began this in the first half, the in-half break will cool them off.

We need Steamboat, be he should keep clear of Tyson.. We should sport a Twin tower setup with KG and Greg.. Greg should be on Melo and KG on Chandler.. Sasha should be on Novak.
Greg on Melo? I don't think so... ::)
Greg is already pretty banged up himself, I want no broken ankles tonight. Best thing for the C's tonight is to just walk out of MSG healthy. An ugly game it is, but it's still a regular season game, nothing different than the other 65.

Greg ain't half bad on D but he's basically nothing against Chandler.. We could utilize his size against Melo or JR.

Celtics didn't get the scouting report this morning on JR Smith and Steve Novak.

I know...thought about that...but now is a good time to try it for 2 minutes or so.....it might just quiet melo down so we can get a handle on the rest of these upstarts..!

I still think we can win this game, but the Knicks have got to stop making 3 pointers.

They are hot and I think some of guys are a little tired.  They are killing us on the boards and have taken 16 more shots than us.  I think we are dead in the water but hope for a come back.

Smith and Novak are killing us.

This. We can win anything, but not when opponents have a ridiculous three-point percentage.
