Nice reply jdz101, TP.
We can bury our heads in the sand and just assume everyone and their mother will be sticking it up our backside for the rest of the season - and assuming, because the debate is over, that we will probably go 2-22 the rest of the way and get absolutely demolished by whoever it is we play in the 1st round. (I know if we go 2-22 we won't be in the playoffs - that was for affect...)
Or.....Or...........
We could lace 'em up and go down swinging, with everything in the tank - which is exactly what this unit will do and which is exactly why I can't wait to watch the rest of the season from this group that has brought us so many great and memorable moments the last five years.
Is there even a choice? Let's see, cry in our milk about how badly we suck, or go out and try to punch every team we play in the head?
I do agree that a smaller rotation of bigs should not result in KG playing too many minutes. That's why I'm advocating JJJ getting minutes tomorrow night - thought it was tonight in SAC).
Maybe 20 is too much, but I'd probably look to do:
KG and Bass to start off
Work in Stiemsa
and then try to get JJJ in there while KG is at the five
I'd really like to see a four man rotation starting tomorrow night. Even if it means a couple more losses along the way.
We just need to land in the 4th to 6th spot, preferably the 6th for draft position. Get past that round and see what happens from there.
The team will benefit and so will JJJ - don't grind KG right now. Grind Bass, Stiemsma and JJJ.
