Still Perk is damaged goods.  He was great for us but we traded him for damaged goods to in Jeff Green.

How can it be a bad year when you're 29-7?

Right - nothing to do with Durant, Westbrook, Harden. They'd be a .500 without Perk. Riiight..

I'd say they'd probably have the same record with Jermaine O'Neal instead of Perk.

As would we with Perk instead of JO.

I dunno, if we still had Perk, Rondo would be happier and smiling.

Rondo smiles are worth at least 10 victories alone.

TP  ....if Rondo is happy we are happy...he is moody like a woman.

Perk is what he is... and we'd still be a .500 team with him. We were very good with Shaq last year, and even JO and Semih played better than him (because of his injury) while he was in green last year.

I miss Perk? yeah, but I miss TA even more, and it was a bigger mistake to let him go for an extra year. Krstic + Green (without the heart condition) were clearly the better package. Things have gone very bad for the Celtics, but without the Perk trade they'd be basically the same. Rondo's smile? He'd better mature, because he's a top 3 PG who could end being a top 10 because of his lack of focus.

I wish Perk all the best, but I don't think he'll end his current contract with the Zombies. But if the Celtics don't win, I hope he gets a ring.

We could have signed Perk , made him happy, yes it would have been an overpayment skill wise..... But hindsight is 20-20, now we know what a head case Rondo became after the Perk trade....I wouldn't have never said trade him

We got Rondo contract cheap....I would have brought Perk back and counted it as part of Rondo contract . Keeping Perk would have kept Rondo happy and us winning.

Yep and he is a shadow of his old self?  no?

4.4 PPG, 6.4 RPG now and  .447 FG% this year.   So yeah he has played some games but he is not his old self, ACF.  I think he is in decline despite those 93 games.  The stats bear this out...
