  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
I would ask for Barnes and Goudelock with Gasol.
Give them JO+Rondo+our later first round pick.

They will want Wilcox or Bass but we need both for a deep run.
I don't know what else to offer.
Bottom line is if they want Rondo they will give up Barnes with Gasol.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

So , If DH donesn't go to LA .  Would LA still trade Pau to Boston for Rondo ?  If so.... would Danny have a legitmate shot at getting D Will ,  IF the Nets don't get Howard either?

Would Dwill want to play with KG and Pau and Wilcox and Bass ?

I can't imagine the Lakers trading Gasol for Rondo unless they get Dwight first.

Reason , I post that question , is because I've heard twice this morning on TV that the Lakers have offered Bynum for DH12 and Orlando has said "NO"

I can't see how LA can get past the 2nd round with out a guard of Rondo' calibre,  Fisher is old as dirt and slow.  Their shots are running out with a 100% Kobe for another title.

If we're going to lose Rondo I want a high first rounder, because this is our final run Gasol or no Gasol (barring a miracle offseason).  So, after this year's Gasol run, which lottery bound teams could vault back into the mix by adding Gasol during the offseason.....

I was thinking Detroit.  Playing well lately with a great young PG and up and coming Center in Monroe.

Monroe and Gasol on the front-line with Knight at PG, a playoff tested Ben Gordon, Stuckey, Prince, Jerebko.....we get their lottery pick and take on some of their salary....admittedly one of the guys I just mentioned plus some deadweight...

Also, I like the idea of Gasol back in Memphis with his brother....nasty front court.....but Memphis doesn't have a lottery pick to offer.

Any lotto teams besides Detroit who might want Gasol?

How about New Jersey.

Lopez, Gasol, Deron Williams, Marshon Brooks.......

We take the lotto pick and some losers...

I think the opposite is true. I don't see them getting dwight without giving up bynum and gasol. I see this deal with rondo as being a back up for the dwight deal.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

The Lakers, according to my sources, have their eyes on Rajon Rondo from the Boston Celtics. They believe Danny Ainge may be willing to do it. I haven't spoke to Danny Ainge about it so I don't know. But they believe Ainge is looking to unload, looking to get younger, and revamp his roster for a big, a guy like Pau Gasol. They're talking about a Brandon Bass & Rajon Rondo for a Pau Gasol.

If we moved Bass I would be disappointed. Yet then I could see acquiring Beasley.

Something like this:

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=7kl2dle

Celts get Gasol, Beasley, and Ridnour
Lakers get Rondo, Bass, Moore
Wolves get JO and Dooling and maybe a pick from LA
