Edgar takes Andrew Bogut.

Strange. Is there more to that pick than meets the eye?

Edgar takes Andrew Bogut.

What happened to him?

To Edgar? Or Bogut?

I'd have thought hard about taking Bogut if he'd fallen to me at 28, although the word on his latest injury rehab doesn't sound good.

Edgar takes Andrew Bogut.

What happened to him?

He's injured for the year, unfortunately.

For future scenarios, though, that'd be a dream lineup.

Why so?  He's the best player left on the board.  I see it similar to teams taking Randolph and Horford early, despite their injuries.

As for Asik and Odom. I'm going to say both would've been available at the back end of the next round. Anyone want to disagree?

I think those are teams that can afford to wait, whereas a pick 2 Celtics team would seemingly be in win-now mode. There's good reason to believe that this could be KG's last year.

Okay, yeah, that's fair.  Bogut only makes sense for the Celtics if they think KG will come back next year.  If so, that's a great team for a one year run.

Did ET's trade ever get processed?  I missed the particulars of it.

I believe that's when the pick is due.

Nice pick out of nowhere, Bahku. Jamison is having a great year.
