In this league he's out for a month with an ankle sprain. It's gonna be fine. Were still eating all your lunches.

If Andy and Bogut are both out for a while, then I'm not sure I understand why Edgar gave you guys a 2nd rounder. It seems like he gave up the better long-term player and a much higher pick, no?

Varejao is younger and less injury prone, and puts up equal production.  Plus, he should be back this year, at least hopefully.

Varejao is two years older. I'll give you the injury prone, although Bogut is the better player. I can understand some picks being thrown your way, I'm just saying a #2 for a #13 seems crazy to me.

For what the cavs have right now, I think taking bogut is absolutely worth the gamble. Also, as i stated thoroughly on another thread I really like andy next to kg. Did not know about the injury tho.

Yeah, no idea.  I just know Edgar loves the guy.  And, to show you how checked out I am of this whole co-GM thing, I had no idea Varejao was 29 years old, or the extent of his injury.

Good trade for us, I guess. ;)

Happened in 2nd half of Friday night's game. The wrist being broken came out today. They are still deciding if it needs surgery or not.

Regarding this Edgar was hitting us up for a trade of Varejao from first thing this afternoon

love favors, really think he'll blossom in this league, but I'm not sure why you wouldn't go for more of a sure thing.

Are you planning on using Favors as an undersized center?

You've got one guy there that I'd trust in the fourth quarter of a Finals game. ;)

In all seriousness, I was surprised by the Favors selection, and figured you'd go with one of the more proven options on the board.  You're going to be in the Conference Semis no matter who you fill your roster out with, though.

I thought it was an interesting gamble on Favors but great defensively. Are you planning on playing him as a 4 or a 5? As a 4, I'm a little more reserved because him and whoever you get as your 5 are going going to clog the paint a little too much for my liking for Wade and LeBron.

You can't really go wrong with Wade, LeBron and Favors though. Especially if the kid lives up to anywhere near his potential.

Looking at my options, there was no "sure thing" whose abilities I feel I couldn't get in he next two rounds.

No less undersized than Joel Anthony.  ;D
