I like the Gallinari pick a lot.

Oh sure, but when I drafted him over the summer, you called him "undynamic."

Anyway, the Portland Trailblazers are super bummed to instead draft Carlos Boozer.

Just think of all the material you'll have to use against me if and when I diss this Boozer pick.

Wait, you and Nick moved up? I thought this draft was supposed to be "for fun?" Well, I'm not having any.

Wanna know how I know this draft is for real? WW is already sparring with Roy about Carlos Boozer.
This is just spill over from last week's H2H fantasy matchup. :D

Yeah his issue is in rotations/help, his man defense is solid especially for a guy without a ton of length/hops.

Things I learned from Roy.

He's got a 7'2" wingspan. But right on both other counts RE: rotations, hops.

Some advanced stat that I don't understand shows that while he's no Dwight Howard, he's exceptional at defending the center position.

I think there's probably a logical trade for me and the Walker Wiggle involving Tyson Chandler, but I'm not crazy about any of his players next to what I've got.

Anybody interested in joining some menage-a-trade-talks?

The St. Louis Bombers (aka the failed project formerly known as the Sacramento Kings) drafts PF/C Al Harrington

I'm not sure how I even feel about my own pick, but his experience should certainly benefit Cousins, and can take away from having Cousins be a primary scorer.

SG-Nick Young/Rudy Fernandez
SF-Linas Kleiza/MarShon Brooks

A bit disappointed that Portland is looking to trade Boozer. It'll be interesting to see what type of offers you get for him.

I like the Gallinari pick a lot. I thought he should have gone a couple of picks earlier. Nice complement to a Dwight Howard and Kyle Lowry. And going to play him at PF, interesting, definitely looking forward to seeing how that roster develops over the next couple of rounds.

Wow, really interesting pick. This is my first draft but I'm guessing this is a little bit of a reach. Either way it's a fun pick, Harrington opens things up for Cousins.

Ha. Well I was more of thinking along the lines of chandler to the blazers but of course I'd listen to your offer.

Haha.  Well, at least people listened to my arguments, even if they didn't buy into them when it came to voting.  Nobody likes a winner, I guess.  8)

Interesting.  When I think "guys I want mentoring DeMarcus Cousins", Al Harrington isn't near the top of my list.  Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, though.

Hmm ... that is going to change my plans.

I was expecting Al Harrington to be available at the end of the second round. I thought he'd be a nice backup big man to throw out there alongside Pau Gasol at center. Spread the floor out. Lots of offensive firepower.

Just on the court benefit. I think I'll find another veteran simply for off the court leadership.
