Boston sports teams sure know how to lose championships. I know that the Bruins won last year, and all, but the last two Patriots super bowls and the 2010 NBA championship definitely make me want to puke.

Is it Brady's fault that Welker pretty much dropped the game ? I mean if he catches that the Pats could have run out the majority of the clock ....

First, that was a bad pass.  Welker was wide open, and he made Welker contort awkwardly to attempt to catch that pass.

Second, that's why Brady is more Kobe than Jordan.  Jordan didn't need excuses, he just won.  6-for-6 in championship games.

Agree completely....Welker was in the clear.....he shouldn't have had to make a spectacular turning backwards catch...

I lived in Portland Oregon for years. They have one pro sports team, the Blazers.  Residents of the city *still* talk about the early '90s like with near-tears in their eyes.

Trust me, it is much better to get to the championship game and lose, than to have nothing, year after year after year....

In all seriousness, there are millions of sports fans everywhere that wish they had the situation that Boston sports fans have right now. Each Boston sport team is a contender. Every year there is a chance (at least at the start of the season) that one of the Boston sports teams can win it all. Savor it while we have it.  It will not last.

No doubt about that.  It took me months and months to get over the 2010 loss.  Last year's loss in the playoffs healed in a matter of days.
