Boston sports teams sure know how to lose championships. I know that the Bruins won last year, and all, but the last two Patriots super bowls and the 2010 NBA championship definitely make me want to puke.

Why are people touching the trophy with their gloves on... that's idiotic I think.

Exhibit #2 in terms of why Brady ≠ Jordan.

Giants win!  Eli punches his HOF ticket.

Is it Brady's fault that Welker pretty much dropped the game ? I mean if he catches that the Pats could have run out the majority of the clock ....

First, that was a bad pass.  Welker was wide open, and he made Welker contort awkwardly to attempt to catch that pass.

Second, that's why Brady is more Kobe than Jordan.  Jordan didn't need excuses, he just won.  6-for-6 in championship games.

Agree completely....Welker was in the clear.....he shouldn't have had to make a spectacular turning backwards catch...

The thing is, most teams in most cities don't even make it to the big game.

I lived in Portland Oregon for years. They have one pro sports team, the Blazers.  Residents of the city *still* talk about the early '90s like with near-tears in their eyes.

Trust me, it is much better to get to the championship game and lose, than to have nothing, year after year after year....

Tuck plays possessed every game he plays. I hate to say it, but I think the dominate Brady era is over and far away in the rear view mirror. I feel like I'm going to cry.

Remember when the Super Bowl used to suck every year?  The last dozen years or so have had some great, great games.

In all seriousness, there are millions of sports fans everywhere that wish they had the situation that Boston sports fans have right now. Each Boston sport team is a contender. Every year there is a chance (at least at the start of the season) that one of the Boston sports teams can win it all. Savor it while we have it.  It will not last.

No doubt about that.  It took me months and months to get over the 2010 loss.  Last year's loss in the playoffs healed in a matter of days.

Why does your team losing in a championship feel EXACTLY like someone dumping you? This is probably worse than 2007.

seriously?!  how many cities/teams even make it to title games, especially with the frequency and success they have had since 2k.  you cant win them all.

Blow it up.

Brady wins 3 in his lesser years, and losses 2 in his prime. Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. cray!

Completely agree.

Boston fans have been spoiled the past decade. I'm loving it, bc this stuff doesn't happen often.

Ahmad Bradshaw is the luckiest man in America.  A fumble and a bonehead play, and he's still a champion.

Sounds like me in '07 with the Pats.
