Still looking for applicants.
I am willing to accept applications for Co-GMs. It is a serious process as you have to be able to answer questions such as:
1. Who is the greatest player in Winnipeg Jets History?
2. Pierre Trudeau, Great PM or total disaster?
3. David Lee Roth or Sammy Hagar?
4. Where is Winnipeg?
5. What is the best Iron Maiden song?
6. Finish the sentence, the Toronto Maple Leafs are..
7. Name one great Winnipeg Blue Bomber?

5. You really can't go wrong with anything off of
Number of the Beast,
Piece of Mind, or
Powerslave. It's incredible to think that those three albums were released in the span of three short years.
Picking a single track from that golden age is a fool's errand, though. Gun to my head, I pick "Where Eagles Dare:" McBrain's ripshot intro, Murray and Smith's soaring twin leads, Dickinson's incredible vocal range and power, and Harris' understated but essential rhythm underneath. It is the very essence of Maiden: a full-throated gallop through a sonic landscape that was both virtuosic and seriously
heavy. As the first track on quite possibly their best album, it absolutely compels you to listen further. That album never lets up, and never lets you down. I keep going back to it over and over again.
6. The Toronto Maple Leafs are destroying my soul, again, this season.
7. Um, much like the Maiden catalog from 1982-1984, they are all great?
[Seriously, got nothing without going to Wikipedia. Although, nicknames like "Blink" and "Turtle Man" intrigue me enough to consider looking for highlights on YouTube.]
