Pass interference is such a ridiculous call.  Seems like if the defender is physical at all with the receiver, it's called. 

Most of the time when there's a 50/50 ball and both defender and receiver go for it, it seems like it's called pass interference.  It's stupid watching teams gain huge amounts of yardage off of penalty calls like that.

Anyone thinking it might have been better for Smith to go down at the 3?  I know that never happens, but they could have run out the clock and kicked a chip.  Now the Saints operate with 4 downs.
