They FINALLY LET HIM THROW A FIRST-DOWN PASS! For 10 weeks I've been begging for JUST ONE, when unexpected. UNLEASH! Hate THAT!

Skip Bayless is going nuts
As expected. I HAVE to watch ESPN First Take tomorrow just to see his reaction.

You beat DEN once - can you do it again?

Won't be easy, but I still like how the Pats match up with the Broncos.  I don't think the Broncos have an answer for the Pats' tight ends.  The Steelers don't have an elite tight end; the Pats have two.

Saturday night game in Foxboro.  That place will be amped.  Great opportunity for the Pats to get their playoff mojo back.

Denver scares me a bit.  I mean they ran all over the Pats in that first quarter in their first meeting.  Broncos also made a bunch of mistakes that the Pats capitalized on.  If they don't make those mistakes this time around, it could be a much closer game.

I do think Brady is chomping at the bit for this one, though.

Just noted by Schefter:

Josh McDaniels's first game as Patriots assistant coach will be against the Broncos.

Scripted? Nah, the NFL is better than that, right? It's not the NBA, after all....
;)

Seriously, I'm looking forward to this game next Saturday night.

I can understand the football purists who criticize Tebow, though.

The man is improving as a passer, which is good for him - but I hope and pray he expedites that improvement.

I saw him take a few hits while running today that made me cringe. He is a young fellow right now, but Tebow please continue the improvement, man. You are taking games out of your career as a QB with some hits you are taking.

Well, the Pats made adjustments in the game in Denver which allowed them to slow down the Broncos' running game after that first quarter.  I imagine they'll stick with those adjustments this time.

Plus, Tebow isn't nearly as scary on the road.

lol...NE had better respect DEN...they could lose next week.

DEN is not to be taken lightly.

All of the pressure is on NE, IMO. DEN has nothing to lose, here.

The more I think about it, you really gotta feel bad for Ryan Clark.

Guy sits out the game because of sickle cell trait that could legitimately kill him in the high altitude if he played and his team loses.

I have to think he makes a significant difference in that secondary today.

I don't think I've ever seen Foxboro "amped" probably the quietest stadium in the league.

I have.

'04 Divisional Playoff against Tennessee which also happened to be on a Saturday night and I still believe is the coldest game in Foxboro history.   Fun times.

Interesting note regarding the fumble in the saints lions game from the NFL.

Quote
“Referee Tony Corrente ruled the play was a fumble and a recovery by Detroit,” the league said in a statement emailed Sunday night to PFT.  “However, during the play and before Detroit recovered the fumble, another official blew the whistle believing it was an incomplete pass.  Because the ruling on the field was a fumble, and the whistle came before the recovery, the play is dead because of the inadvertent whistle and the Saints should have retained possession of the ball.  New Orleans would then have had the choice to put the ball in play at the spot where possession was lost or to replay the down.  Inadvertent whistles are not reviewable.”

Also, to provide some consolation to Steelers fans, I heard Obama just invited James Harrison to the whitehouse.
