I'm really tired of seeing our perimeter players being left wide open and no one giving them the ball. This was true as soon as Moore came in, he was open the whole game and no one gave him a single pass. And he's not alone in this.
That has a lot to do with Rondo
I actually had that in my post, but I erased it because I didn't want to focus on Rondo. Dooling was equally responsible for this behavior.
I agree. Dooling's shoot first mentality has been very dissapointing so far.
It's a tough balance to strike for him and it's going to take a while. He comes in and plays SG for a while with Rondo, where his job is to shoot when he's open. Then he runs the point with the second unit, it falters, and he tries to make something happen by shooting it. It's going to take some time for him to get comfortable going between two vastly different positions and roles, and for the bench to gel.
