In fact, he's downright awful.

Of course, this has been obvious to me from the get go.  There can't still be believers out there can there?  Unfortunately for Avery, he'll be out of the league within three years easy.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Can people stop writing off players after 2 pre season games?
I'm not the biggest Bradley fan but at least be fair, you need to give him some decent time. He's still nervous and is feeling his way out there. Give him half a season and he will get better.

This is what he was like in college- one thing he is lacking is confidence- something that he had a load of in college.
Give him time to get this back.

He doesn't have good offensive fundamentals. He hasn't got a first step or handles. He should just be a cutter and a spot up shooter and look in that direction, no matter where he ends up playing.

Umm, that was highschool.

Danny hasn't had a real hit in the draft since BBD in 07 yikes.

I think Bill Walker is the only guy who's still in the league.

This isn't about two preseason games (or him missing shots).  I am observing his game.  And to me, he has little.  I don't see anything there that's leads me to believe he'll be a good two guard.  We already know he can't play the point.  Not sure what's left for him to do?

Bradley is very talented and just needs time to develop.  He was the 4th best HS player in the nation in 09' (behind Wall, Cousins, and Favors).

He didn't look nearly as lost on both ends as he did last game. He missed his shots but he looks pretty decent to me. IMO he's way better than he was last season. If he can keep improving he could end up being a solid player. The kid is 21, don't think we need to be so critical at this point.

Coming out of college Avery Bradley was touted as a shooter; that scout who made that assessment needs to be fired.

Avery has to find a niche on offense. Either become a shooter by improving his jump shot, or become a facilitator work on his ball handling. Currently Avery remains a project

Did you see the end of reg season game last year where he got 20 something points?
Obviously he's showing some kind of promise to be given a chance this year.
Remember he missed any chance his first season (his rookie year)because he had to have ankle surgery.

I understand that he looks like roadrunner a little out of control, but give him time and be fair.
You can't judge if he'll be good or not after 2 preseason games ...
He's never had this much time to play and it's overwhelming coming in and living up to expectations.

I'll say already he's one of the better defenders on this team.

Give him at least 25-30 games before you throw him under the bus.
Same with Pavolich.

He has a very good first step and can get to the hole with ease- his finishing needs polishing at the NBA level,
but you can't defend that well in the NBA without quick feet.

Its totally mental for him right now. Even though that video is from high school, he obviously has the physical abilities to score in the nba. He is just forcing EVERYTHING and his shot is suffering because of it. He needs to stop trying to impress and score and his mind will work itself out over time. Its like what happened with lebron on the finals.

I dunno he doesn't look like he can make two with a pencil.  His shot is beyond spotty.   I like his D.   He got back on that one break and had a nice steal.   Offensively though he is a little offensive and the offensive does not flow naturally for him.

Looks like a career back up at best.

I don't know about you guys, but I've been pretty impressed with his play on both sides of the floor in the second half. Showing a lot of aggressiveness and has made a few very impressive defensive plays.

He's certainly played well enough to warrant not being written off.
