We need to bring in one more player to replace Jeff Green. It's not Nate, who has character issues that the Celtics are avoiding like the plague. We're certainly not touching Iverson with a ten foot pole. Right now we have no one who can cover Lebron in transition, and the Heat love nothing more than to outlet the ball to the other side of the court with Lebron out-running everyone for the easy 2. Ideally we land:
1 Kirelenko
2 Al Thornton
3 Joey Graham
4 Julian Wright
5 Mikeal Pietrus
6 James Posey
7 Jamario Moon
this is 100% correct.
Kirilenko is target 1, then Thornton. I'd probably put Pietrus up higher because he's almost ready to play after his injury.
Forget Nate Robinson and Allen Iverson. We need a wing player who can score an open jumpshot but more importantly they MUST be able to guard the following players in the playoffs when Pierce is resting:
Lebron
Carmelo
Iguadala
Luol Deng+Rip Hamilton (Rip is 6'8")
I am cringing at some peoples ideas on the changes we need.
Our team is solid- we were VERY solid when Jeff Green coming in. We must replace what we lost with Jeff going out. That doesn't happen with Nate Robinson or some of these other bums mentioned.
