This sounds bad...

Gary Washburn via twitter said he asked Doc if he would be out awhile. Doc responded "I'll let you guess".

Didnt pass the stress test, so he might need some procedure and/or medication??????? The last time I didnt pass a stress test I had a "procedure", like Green might have to have; Only mine was a 4 bypass open heart surgery; That was 11 years ago. So You guys shouldnt worry at all about Green not passing a stress test. Im feeling excellent ever since so should Green after a "procedure".

This is exactly what I was thinking.  My moms boyfriend was having chest pains he thought was just a pulled muscle from yard work....went to the hospital and got some tests done after my mom hounded him.  Ended up being that he had a major issue with his arteries being clogged, and had to get a stent put in.  Doctor said something about perspective like Ainge too...basically "it's unfortunate that he had to have the procedure (and now stay on medication forever, but if he hadnt come in, he couldve had congestive heart failure and died".

If the #Celtics Jeff Green is lost for an extended period of time, the C's are expected to give some thought to bringing J. Posey back.

I don't think someone Green's age and with his fitness level has any risk of congestive heart failure or a blocked artery. It must be an irregular heartbeat of some sort.

Can you guys imagine how many people would be freaking out if we DID make the trade for Chris Paul and it was voided because of Jeff failing the physical? How much would that SUCK? Not only for him but how about having to take a p---ed off Rondo back after he was sent packing?

On the other hand, this could have nullified the Perk trade had they seen whatever it is they are seeing now.

I really do hope he is OK.  It will be great news if this is not serious even if it impacts this year or his career.

Age is a factor, as a younger person has had less time to accumulate plaque on the artery walls, and being active can help bring down your cholesterol, but there are still plenty of young active people that end up with clogged arteries.  It could be genetic, poor diet, blood pressure issues, or any # of factors leading to the blockage.  It isnt common, but neither is Arrythmia.  In any case, if he has a heart issue at his age and body composition, it's a rare circumstance.

Lol thought about this a couple days ago. Rondo likely demands a trade like Lamar odom.

Green at Cleveland Clinic with Ainge in tow

http://news.bostonherald.com/sports/basketball/celtics/view.bg?articleid=1389054

With all the great hospitals in Boston, I was curious as to why.

They are ranked as a top hospital in the country for cardiology and heart surgery (US News has them #1).  They also top many rankings in gastroenterology.

I'm guessing it's heart related.  This might end up very badly for Green and the Celtics.
