Too bad, I think I'm more upset that we're stuck with JO starting more than anything, lol.

Some of you acting like we missed out on karl malone or something...

I'm in this boat. David West would've been nice and everything, but I mean he wasn't the defensive stalwart Perkins was, or the pure presence the promise of Shaq was. I would've have quite called it a 'lateral move', but its not like it would've set us apart for the coming season or anything.

to me it was the difference between being a top 10 team and being a top 5 team.  still probably not going to win the championship, but they'd have a shot.  now?  we're back to where we were at the end of the last season.  2nd round exit.

Haha, me too!

I've been spending the last 5 minutes trying to talk myself into Chris Wilcox as a starter instead of J.O'Neal.

To be accurate, Boston had a sign-and-trade with New Orleans for David West ready to do. West wanted more money annually, took Pacers offer.

Woj says our s&t was ready to go, but West took the Pacers instead. Hope KG whoops up on him in the playoffs now.

David West will be a nice addition for Indiana.

PG - D.Collison, G.Hill
SG - P.George, D.Jones
SF - D.Granger, B.Rush
PF - D.West, T.Hansbrough
C  - R.Hibbert, J.Foster

They have a nice squad there. Not enough top tier talent to do anything unless Paul George makes a huge leap but I like their balance and depth. The mix of talent.

Its the type of team that gets you close to 50 hard wins, is a threat to beat any team on any night, and will likely drive a team nuts before going down in the 1st or 2nd round.

Scumbag West. Wants to win a title and join a contender. Goes to Indiana to get more money.

I read somewhere that Paul George grew another inch during the offseason, and now stands at 6'10".

I also hear that the Pacers may look to S&T McRoberts for O.J. Mayo.

Fascinating.  I guess West was using Boston to ramp up the Pacers' offer.
