Source says Kings' winning bid was a four-year, $12 million deal for SF Travis Outlaw. He had a 5 yr, $35 million deal with Nets

Did the Kings really think they had a lot of competition, to the point of being compelled to offer $3 million per season?
Four years $12 million is a bargain for Travis Outlaw. Good contract.
