McRoberts isn't a good rebounder. His rebounding rate in the last 2 years was 13.2% and 13.3%. And it's not like he was playing alongside good rebounders. Mediocre.
I am quite surprised by those rebounding numbers. I thought they were higher.

Why do the Pacers keep pursuing those inefficient scoring guards like Crawford and Mayo? What's wrong with Hill doubling down as a 1/2 backup?

Colison/Hill
George/Hill
Granger/George

I reckon they don't like Rush, but they don't really need him in the rotation.

I guess they'll want some more dribble penetration and shot-creation from the backcourt, but I'm not sure those guys are good fits.

Good replacements for JR Smith and Chandler.

Dallas wing situation is now a bit thin. Vince Carter, Shawn Marion, Jason Terry, then Kidd/Beaubois/Dominique Jones. Kind of small and soft.

The Lakers has signed Josh McRoberts too.

To replace Lamar Odom. Similar players, except that McBob is a lousy rebounder, a very soft defender and can only convert dunks or open stationary set jump-shots.

I dunno his stats, but he looked quite good vs. Celts last year. Thought he really took some positive strides, very aggressive.

All three teams - Blazers, Kings and Knicks - are offering Crawford a one-year deal. He wants to test free agency again next summer.

Like the Pacers, teams may offer Crawford a two-year deal with an opt out after year one. Either way, it ends up being a one-year deal.

If that's all it cost for those 2, how could Danny have missed out on them?   2 wings, 1 a shooter off the bench and 1 a defender.  both can play uptempo.  I'm sure something could have been worked out

I've been thinking about this all day, especially when  Daniels
(because of health)and Pavlovic aren't as good as Fernandez and Brewer. Not only that, they could have been a few more young trade chips to try and land a big name in Boston....

If we are going to build around Rondo we need all the shooting we can get and I think Fernandez would be deadly shooter with Rondo's passing ability.

IMO Fernandez and Brewer are better than Daniels and Sasha.  Daniels has some nice versatility as a player but he has major health issues.  I think Fernandez and Brewer are both better than Sasha.

We didn't have the cap space to absorb them.  Dallas just wanted a salary dump.

Probably would have preferred mcroberts 2/6.1 over Wilcox 1/3
