I predict Laker fans have a new whipping boy.  They were frustrated with Odom's play and McRoberts is like a much less versatile and productive Odom.

Trade him, I guess. He is a RFA and perhaps they're not confident that they'll be able to retain him.

Afflalo is a better player than Rudy, so I'm not sure why Coach Karl wants to replace him.

Could be a bluff to drive Afflalo's price down.  He's in free agent limbo right now where a lot of teams were interested, but are waiting for the big pieces to settle in.  By the time those guys are signed, there might not be much competition for Denver. 

Which is a long way of saying I doubt Karl really thinks Rudy's better than Afflalo.
