ugh..when does danny say enough..we are keeping rondo, resigning green and S and T glen davis?

Green will not get more then the qualifying offer from Boston unless it is part of trade.

you think he takes that?

Yes, in a heart beat.

No team is going to offer him more then the MLE as a free agent.

The sad thing is, with the crazy numbers being thrown around, you can't guarantee that.

Around the time we traded for Green, his agent said something about having passed on a $10M per year extension. I don't think he'll look back on that day fondly.

In baseball turning down that type of contract and later regretting it to the tune of tens of millions is called "pulling a Nomar".

I think N.O. is crazy to this deal if they just get Martin and Scola. Def. sounds like someone is trying to drive up the price.. If the Clippers pick is holding us back then give it up. I'm sorry but I think the Clippers are going to be pretty good next year. At least 7th or at worst 8th in the west.

Earlier the idea was floated that NO is using this deal to drive up the price for the Celtics. This could really come back to hurt us considering the more we wait the more free agents will come off the board.

I read that we can use $500,000 to entice a foriegn (chinese) team to let a player go early. Does this count against the cap? Could we be waiting in the weeds to get JR Smith?

Maybe we could trade D .West and BBD for Gasol.... ;D

This bidding on CP3 is getting worse than eBay.

eBay at least has the "buy it now" option.

I swear the Hornets are just &%*$ing with us right now. This is making me upset. If they are cooling on it then shouldn't we have a deal by now?

"cooling" is different than "hardened"
