Nice work, GC. Your team should do better than last year, imo.

I know games are yet to be played but these teams will most probably be in the playoffs, imo. (in no particular order):

The Naturals
Blake
Utah Flash
Ya'll Hate
Lucky17
Gainesville Celtics
CK's Babytown Frolics
Draft Dodgers

While each of those are solid squads, I wouldn't count the Drinkers out.

Thanks Roy. My team has a lot of young guys who may not get enough playing time. I'm not counting on my team to make it to the playoffs this year.

Rondo's and Kane's teams could sneak in the top 8 as well.

OK, my apologies to the crowd.  I have been inundated with a work change and have neglected trade proposals and such.  Do we know of anyone who would like to be my GM/coach as I remain the owner?  Is that something the league is OK with?

Can you find someone to co-GM with you?

I can check my PMs to see if others have expressed interest.

In the meantime, it would be good to get your cut. I'm assuming CDR?

Can someone break down how the waiver wire works in this league?

When can we start using it, and what's the mechanism for determining who gets which guys?

Draft order in reverse, I think.

Waiver priority is the reverse order of the draft. League winner gets #1, runner up gets #2, and then order of finish.

Once you use your waiver priority to submit a claim, you go to the end of the line (20th), and then move up as others ahead of you exercise theirs.

All players who don't appear on a roster will hit the waiver wire for 48 hours after roster uploads (on Friday, I hope).

(I kid. Somebody needs to battle Wiggle for the role of lead villain, though.)

I'm not a villain, Roy, I'm an anti-hero.

Rondo's and Kane's teams could sneak in the top 8 as well.

Yeah, baring unforeseen injuries I like both the Designated Drinkers and Rondo2287 to make the playoffs. I just hope it's not at the expense of yours truly.

And the Webskins have less of a margin for error but can't be counted out.

Thoughts on cutting down the initial waiver period to 24 hours? Or at least clarify how we'll handle early F.A. releases?

As I recall, last season, waivers were processed after 48, but any player without a waiver claim was dumped into free agency 24 hours early.
