I'm awaiting feedback from HP on this.

I don't think it holds up the trade, but having the right to exercise a swap to improve a pick that will eventually be traded now seems moot.

In non-Commissioner office related news, I am once again open to trading Goran Dragic to a team needing a PG.

Shelden Williams, the Nets' newest starting PF, is also available.

I dont think MMSB would do that.  but even if he would (and I dont believe he would), why trade the 13th pick last year and the 7th pick this year?

that is why I am so confused by the deal.  he is building a young team through trades and the draft.  so this one was a head scratcher.

To tell you guys the honest truth.... When I agreed to this trade, I didn't realize that Singler wasn't coming back to the NBA this season.  All I knew was that I remembered hearing he had been playing great ball over there during the lockout.  I should've done a bit more homework.  

I did realize Brooks wouldn't be playing this year but I really like his game and think he will be a starting PG somewhere next season.  I also get 2 2nd's which I can use to make some more moves - which I will.  

Beyond that, I needed to cut down my roster.  I planned on keeping Davis and do think he will be a good player, but I am not thinking he will be an all-star anytime soon - I also had a number of PF's - so someone had to go...

Looking back now, this probably was a dumb move on my part but I do think BBD will have a nice season (possibly better than Davis) and I got some chips to move.  

Who else wants to take advantage of me? :-) I am looking to make some more moves before the roster cuts...
