Regarding the "deleting posts" comment, it's an interesting discussion. I'd encourage you to start a new thread in our Comments and Remarks
Thanks Roy H.. I meant no offense on the Republican Debate thread. I'm just usually hot or cold for my posts. They are either very good or very bad with no in between.
The thing is, I do not persist when there are heated discussions. Once in a while I have gotten out of line. Dslack gave me the McFly smack on the head, and life went on.
I admit to being a feisty bugger. Sometimes it works, sometimes it backfires.
Mooltrikon is tired of the Boston Globe forum discussions. I don't blame him. Nonetheless, I think there is this blog and in the next tier or close to you would have been the Globe Celtics forum. The collective consensus is that their moderators ruined a good thing.
I don't have the time today, but I will check out that subforum and probably act on your encouragement to start a new thread in your admin section.
I'll also try to check out your rules.
You might not know this, but Dslack, Mool, and another kid named Kyle Cleric came up with a formula to replace the draft lottery. It was even featured by
Sports Illustrated. I also think it's amazing how Dslack was able to hook us up with Celtics Hub, an affiliate of ESPN. That hasn't worked out that great, but it was a brilliant idea at the time.
To sum up, I will do my best to not rock the boat. That thing about the itchy fingers was more like a joke. It was all turning very predictable. That's what I think happens far too often on the internet, and that's why I stopped posting on the Republican Debate thread. It would have become self-fulfilling. You know, like it's time to get out of your mom's basement. You're a troll. No, you're a troll. That kind of nonsense.
Mooltrikon is actually thinking of Ron Paul as a choice because of his antiwar views. I shouldn't speak for him. Hey Mool, if you're interested, there's this monster thread in the current events section you might want to participate in.
As for going off-topic, I admit to doing so on this thread. I just thought it was impossible to go off-topic in an off-topic forum. Think of the sound of one hand clapping.
Anyway, I admit if there were a survivor game for Celtics blogging villains, I'd be on the list. But I'd hope people would see me more like an obnoxious Howard Cosell than a Marv "I'm going to bite a chunk off of that lady's back" Albert.
