After I got past the two murderers it was tough. I went with a guy that was supposed to be helping guide young men and instead strangled them and then for all his "toughness" never really owned up to it. I mean what if it was your kid?

I exempted Tim Donaghy for whistle blowing, Dennis Rodman for not doing anything wrong that I can recall, and George Steinbrenner. Much as I dislike him I think he ushered in an era of no excuses owners that put everything they had into their team and was just like "I don't owe you anything". I kinda like him. He also left the lights on when the Sox finally beat him allowing them all the time they wanted to celebrate, which was nice.

I'll play but I'm a little annoyed I can't give points to Brett Farve for taking a dump on football

Believe you me, we at the NickFaldo Commission on Sports Blogging (NFC-SB) wrestled with the idea for hours whether Mr. Favre should be included on the list.

What ultimately weighed in his favor was the fine work he did as a big brother for Warren.

Eja, it looks like you didn't copy and paste from the most recent vote tally. I'll try to fix that. Once someone hits 0, they are in the clear. If there are leftover pts. you can apply them to someone else. This is how it should look. I don't know what to do with your Rodman vote. Maybe next time you can downgrade one extra person.

Nick.  Did you see my post about Elizabeth, and what the other girl did to her right before Elizabeth pulled her hair?  You can see it in the video.  I was alerted to it by one of the comments on the YouTube page for the video.

Yeah Mool, I saw that. I responded at the end of the previous page.

For people wondering about my Red quote for a signature:

On the "Hot Hand" in Basketball

Quote
Here's where things get meta: Even though I know all about Tversky and Gilovich's research - and fully believe the data - I still perceive the hot hand. I can't help but watch the NBA playoffs and marvel at the streakiness of shooters, from Kobe to Rose. (Personally, I'd love to see an analysis of Ray Allen. If that man doesn't show the hot hand, then it really doesn't exist.) And I'm not alone in my stubborn skepticism. Red Auerbach, the legendary coach of the Celtics, reportedly responded to Tversky's statistical analysis with a blunt dismissal. "So he makes a study," Auerbach said. "I couldn't care less."

Now I see your response, Nick.  I missed it the first time.

It's pretty clear to see on the YouTube video that the girl grabbed Elizabeth, in the body part specified by CBS.  Did you watch it?

Also, I haven't got a clue where I got my second Tommy Point.  Maybe Mike Gorman gave it to me, cuz I didn't hear Tommy awarding it on TV.

I didn't see any grab at her crotch. She tugged a bit at her shorts, The other one did not look like a devastating elbow to the chest as reported. It looked more like a gentle nudge, albeit with an elbow. Look at it this way, there are noogies, and then there are real noogies.

Lambert, on the other hand, went insane.

I gave you a Tommy Point.

The only way this could go on an amazing length of time is if there is an even number of groups who are stubborn with their selections. We didn't have that problem at the other board, because it was mostly down to three of us voting. Thus, eventually when two of us ended up on the board at the same time, we could get done whatever we wanted to.

This board has a lot of members. If we get any kind of involvement, this should become very interesting.

For Texas Hold 'em, the blinds are incrementally raised. We could always come up with some kind of gimmick like that. Raise the stakes as in points. In the meanwhile, we are able to pad our post counts, so when newbies show up, they think we are these great veterans of SB Nation Celtics Blog.  ;D

Hi thirstyboots18. If Johnny Most was still with us, he'd definitely agree.

There are definitely many missing from the list. That's the nature of these kinds of things, especially when most of us aren't exactly experts on anything that took place before the 80's or 90's.

Then others simply slip our minds. Like Artest. Sonny Liston could have been added for messing with Ali's eyesight in their fight.

Rick Pitino.

Marv Albert for chewing off a piece of a lady's back.

Jack Tatum. The best part of this is that people like yourself can chip in with your own views like write-in votes. Perhaps someone can come up with a survivor game that is more tight. We had a lot of fun doing these on our other boards run by dslack, who I believe is a member here.

We are from the diaspora that left the Boston Globe Celtics forum. The old school Celtics fans led by Slippery Sam went to Sam's forum. A few of us followed dslack. We were at a non-descript free board. Then he found us a spot with Celtics Hub which is affiliated with ESPN.

We had a registration glitch. The other problem is the server tends to be very slow.

Myself and Mooltrikon were throwing around ideas, and your forum came to mind. I had noticed you through google searches and was always impressed by the depth of commentary, the safety provided by moderation, and the quick page loads.

You appear to be the best Celtics blog on the internet. I haven't seen any better. The only drawback here is it is so big, it feels easy to get lost. Like the difference between studying on a small campus or a big one.

I like how people can be contrarian here as long as they aren't anti-social. Like myself and Mool aren't supportive of Doc Rivers' coaching style. I'm actually tired of discussing him, so you probably won't hear me yapping too much about that. My point is it's nice to know I could discuss my ideas on that without fear of being unfairly jumped on.

I do realize that can be taken too far. There are dudes on the Globe Forum who never stop whining about Rondo. They make him the scapegoat for all the Celtics' problems. I'd hate to become the anti-Doc Rivers version of that.

I've got to get off the net, but here's another vote.

Just a few more drab notes. Yeah, I take this thing way too seriously. If a vote count ends up at 8, please put it in brackets. The #8 in parentheses turns into a smilie. Also, if by chance someone makes a mistake or two people vote at the same time, feel free to do your best to correct that. And again, if you need less than 4 pts. to take someone off the list, feel free to use the extra pts. on someone else. And finally, if someone ends up on 0 because of your vote, leave it up there as 0, and then the next person can delete the name. Thanks.

Ok, here is some of my rationale for my latest votes. Mool has convinced me Elizabeth Lambert deserves a second look. Plus she truly is soft on the eyes. Woody Hayes, ok, he punched the opponent, but with due respect to older people, maybe he was going a bit senile, like he has a mental illness defense. Tonya Harding, wow, I need more info. She seems to have at least tried to cover up the attack on Why Me. And Rosie Ruiz, she may fall into the category of how could someone have been that stupid. Like she gets a sympathy vote like Woody Hayes but for a different reason.
