So, would people actually wanna do the pub draft? I think it'd be fun.

Add a couple more beers into the roster slots and you got yourself a player.

Name your price, Champ.

Since there are so many beers out there, I'd say 6 total is a good number. Also, three comely maidens per participant.

I like the idea champ, but i don't think we can do anything that could be seen as objectifying women.  Maybe we could do a category for "Bartender" where the owner of the pub could pick anybody they want, sports figure, ghandi, or attractive woman. or a sports figure that is also an attractive woman.  Hope solo?

CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

Apologies, I didn't mean as team members, I just meant as dowries for participation.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Pokemon draft.  Original 150 only.

I'm in.  List move sets or it doesn't count.
Obviously.

With 6 per squad we could have up to 25 trainers.  Weaknesses/strengths would make for interesting matchups.

Prolly should bump it to the original 250 just so someone can't go, " I have Mewtwo, your team is invalid".
Psh, I don't know any of those.  I was strictly a Red/Blue version fan.

Plus it's easy to beat Mewtwo with a high-level Jolteon.  Only decent one that learns a bug attack.

But I'll quit if I don't get

Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

  • Yup
I'm trying to muster up some energy for another Ultimate Draft

But I think that all of the good topics may have been used already,

Thought the more obscure ones might make it even sillier.

Yup

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
This thread just turned too nerdy to me, and I'm listening to book 10 of 'The Dresden Files', smoking a cheap cigar, and drinking a beer 90% of the world has never heard of while checking a Boston celtics message board that I'm a moderator at.

James Harden rocks and your shooting guard sucks.

Eric Gordon tried to drink my milkshake, but he didn't know what a milkshake was with some twitter followers help, and even than when the spammers attacked him, like in real life, he had no defense.

Note in this debate: cited articles of praise for Eric Gordon's defense not allowed as evidence.

Also, ftr, I respect kc too much to correct 'milkshake' to 'maltshop' in my original post.

Also, it's irrelevant anyways because he should've said 'maltshoppe'
