CB Draft Team Of The Future Discussion

I'll go back to my initial thought -- that there is no team setup to take over this fantasy league in a few years time. No up and coming team that is a clear threat to become a Championship caliber team in the future.

I'm tempted to vote Dons, just because I believe that much in Derrick Rose.

Carmelo out-scores and out-rebounds both of them, and has a lot more athleticism, (and less injuries), surrounding him.

Miami is the most athletic, explosive, energetic, fast-breaking team in the TOTF running.

I like Carmelo a lot.  The concern I have is that he'll be 28 by next year's playoffs.  Is he young enough to be the centerpiece of a youth movement?

Is he enough of a mature leader to last through a young movement?

Given how he got himself to New York I don't see it honestly. Though it depends how you interpret his trade demand. I thought he was unwilling to rebuild in Denver and wanted to pick his next team.

They would have a nice 1-2 punch with Kevin Durant (MVP candidate) and Kyrie Irving (All-Star?).

They could package Mike Conley and Luis Scola for a younger power forward. Replace Rip Hamilton with CJ Miles. Perkins is still only 26 years old. Gives them a physical presence in the paint on defense.

Rudy Fernandez as the backup two. Jordan Farmar takes over the backup PG minutes. Joel Anthony as a backup center. Replace Charlie V with someone useful. Acquire a backup SF.
