C: Greg Monroe, Aaron Gray, Donatus Montejunas
PF: Al Horford, Darrel Arthur
SF: hedo Turkpglu, James Jones, Jan Vessely
SG: Eric Gordon, Rodney Stuckey
PG: Jrue Holiday, Jameer Nelson, CJ Watson

Futureriffic.

I had not even considered you guys. Absolutely. Premier proven young talent at 4/5 starting positions, with Jan Veesly as the wildcard.

What's not to like?

Nobody talking about this?

Ages:

20 - Tristan Thompson
21 - Keith Thompson
22 - Jimmer Fredette, Jerryd Bayless, Evan Turner, J.J. Hickson, Keith Benson

25 - Daniel Gibson
27 - Carmelo Anthony
28 - Devin Harris
29 - Francisco Garcia, Hakim Warrick
Bakhu, can you help me out with those three guys in red - Evan Turner, Jimmer Fredette and Tristan Thompson. I am pretty much decided on the rest of your roster but I am uncertain about them. How good do you think those guys can become?

Is Turner a multi-dimensional high quality role player or can push on and add some scoring to his arsenal and become a genuine All-Star talent? How likely is he do to so?

Do you expect Fredette or T.Thompson to become All-Star caliber players? Top ten players at their respective positions? Top 15? Less?

Quickly: type-o on second player, should be "Keith Benson". Answer coming.

I dont think there's a superstar to be had here, but a very formidable team with good roles.

Freddette and Turner should be real fun to watch in the backcourt, with mello doing his thing as an "old man" haha.  I don't really care much for T. Thompson or Benson, but together with Hickson should provide good help/relief for Lopez.

K.Thompson will have a nice roll as a 6th man/ kyle-korver-spot-up-shooter.

While the Conspiracy would be the far better defensive team, the Samurai would be much more fortified offensively.

We already have a superstar in Carmelo, so that's a bit of a moot point, and Jimmer has the necessary gifts to become one very soon.

And Melo wasn't enough to get you in the playoffs this season.

I don't see the 2nd star on this team that gets you over the hump.  I see some secondary players and a near star that will get you in the playoffs.

I like this team alot in the future.  It is definitely in the discussion.

They should look to mover Nelson and Hedo to a playoff team that was close, but not quite there for some more good potential.

With the growth of Kanter, the Bullets might be interested in moving Gortat or Kanter in the offseason in a package to get that third top line player to go with Granger and Aldridge.  (thinking PG)

Maybe next season, when people are less stingy with their small forwards. ;D

What if we look, say, 4 years into the future for 3 of our teams(age)...

Lawson(27), Martin(32), Leonard(24), Ibaka(25), Jordan(27), 6th-man: Biyombo(22)

Freddette(26), Turner(26), Mello(31), Hickson(26), Lopez(27), 6th-man: T.Thompson(24)

Holiday(25), Gordon(26), Vesely(25), Horford(29), Monroe(25), 6th-man: Stuckey(29)

Those would be some fun matchups.  Obviously a lot can happen in 4 years, but i'd have to say KC's team would be a serious contender with such a good mix of vets and prime-year players with a great mix of offense/defense.

I still think that the big man rotation of Jordan/Ibaka/Biyombo would be the best defensive grouping in the game, but KC's squad is much more well rounded.

Miami would struggle defensively, but that team would absolutely pour in points.  Opposite of Bahku, i think Thompson is too undersized to play the 4/5 in the NBA with such a poor jumpshot, but i do believe evan turner has all-star potential at age 26.

I think it's safe to say that Jimmer has the talents, abilities, and attitude to be that second star, and I've got enough pieces to make a trade or two for defensive purposes. This team is young, very fast, excellent shooting from anywhere on the court, and what I would define as having major "potential" for the future.

Actually I wouldn't play Tristan at the five at all ... as I said, he's a bit short at PF, but has an amazing wingspan and is a solid 235, so using his body would help at the four ... he could easily be a swingman at the three as well.

Hortford/Monroe is the best big man combo now and in the future.  I think Monroe has just started to learn to play in the NBA.

Not at all ... the kid is amazing, and most people who have spent time watching him would come away feeling very confident about his chances at the NBA level. Not over-hyped at all ... now Kyrie? A bit of over-hype going on there, maybe, but also a great future.

Good college player.  A guy people like.

Not an NBA star.  Maybe a decent bench player in the NBA.

I don't think Jimmer amounts to anything more than a rotational player in the NBA.  Shooter off the bench.

If he's the 2nd star on the team, that's not a good thing, IMO cause I don't think he's starter material.
