Pssshhhht. You'll know when there will be a Hindsight, Who Wins? Vote when harden starts averaging 18 and 4 and Bogut is healthy through the alll-star break. I'm gonna win one of these things one of these years, Brutus, don't you fret ;)
(said Susan lucci)

I'll be looking for an "I told you so" thread when Jimmer takes over PG duties in Sac-Town and becomes Rookie of the Year, and the Thompsons and Keith Benson are all in the running as well. (I know, completely unrealistic, but that's what Rookie love is all about). It's amazing how differently we view players when they're on our fantasy team. ;)

Yeah, very true.  Once you draft these guys, you sort of become bonded with them, taking on a rooting interest in them over the coming season.  I still have a soft spot in my heart for Jrue Holiday and Taj Gibson, two of the only rookies I've drafted in this thing.
God I hope I don't become attached to them. I hate Lebron.

That said, I feel if the Heat win it all next year without a Lebron choke, the Kings could well have the biggest "I told you so" team ever.

And you know what, I won't care one iota.

Can't wait for next year when I can just pick from the players that are left that I like and not have to build a team around a guy I just abhor.

Little advice to those at the top of the draft, if the Heat don't win it next year, don't take Lebron. Its just not a fun thing knowing you have zero chance of winning because you have to defend a guy you despise.

I think Rondo and I feel a lot better now that this is over. No more running fingernails up the chalkboard by having to tell the world how great LeBron James is.

What will that prove?  If LeBron doesn't choke it's because he's on the bench hurt.  All that means is Wade has 2 finals MVPs, and he'll still have more rings.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Cute, that's not quite the way I envisioned his not choking.

There's what though?  A 1 in 5 chance of that happening?   He just keeps doing it over and over again, and it's definitely getting worse.

No one should be allowed to talk about "I told you so" moments but me.  ;D

Well, I could potentially have a fairly easy case at the 'I told you so' argument, and then I'd be like: Ya, remember, I lost to the team that had an advantage at one single position.

(just mix in the jokes with your bitterness S.O, that'll let you save face)

People love them some Deron Williams, apparently.  Well, outside of Jerry Sloan.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Well, kinda happy Zach Lowe's list didn't come out during the press conferences.

Kyle Lowry, James Harden in the 50's, Bogut in the 30's, and who knows where STAT is gonna fall. I'm starting to think I should've taken Blake Griffin.

Hey walker wiggle, wanna trade Stat for Griffin?

Although to be fair, Lowry was ahead of every other PG he faced, and Harden was ahead of every SG he faced besides Wade. But, Chandler is ranked a litle ahead of Bogut, but Bogut, Lowry, and Harden are all guys that Lowe feels could 'jump up a few spots' depending on how they show up next year.

I'd challenge you, but none of my players have been named.... That's probably why we lost in the second round: not enough players in the 100-50 range.

I was surprised to see David West at #31, but I think that Lowe's opinion validates Philly in a pretty big way.  Iguodala is presumably going to land in the top-30, and Wade will be top 5.   That's a very impressive trio.
