my votes for round 1 of East:

Philly- Active big men to go with a very deep and flexible core of wings.  one of the best teams in the draft, imo

Indy- Too deep and too many weapons for boston to handle.  my first ballot didnt have BOS making the playoffs

NY- this was a tough call. my first ballot had NJ as a higher seed, but in a playoff series, i think NY wins.

CHI- this was tough too. went with bulls due to their solid D, hustle/active players, scoring off bench, and flexibility. wash is a solid team tho

Been pretty dissapointed by the first round matchups in the east thus far. Hope to see some improvements.

]1) Sacramento win in 6 games in a close series. LeBron will not be denied.

Do Rondo and I have to post anything more than this tomorrow in our playoff thread to assure a win in our playoff series? ;)

Just wondering.

And yes, this quote will be posted. :D

For me personally, you'll need more than that.  I had Suns 1st and Kings 2nd in the conference.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Oh we aren't expecting a shutout.

I mean I seriously doubt we ever get one particular vote since we were ranked 10th on one ballot out of 11 teams.

But if the GM of the opposing team has already admitted that his team wouldn't beat the Kings and doesn't believe they can then why should anyone else believe they will?

Again, this is mostly in jest but every good jest has truth in it.

Because I'm smarter.  :P

Seriously though, this is a way stronger team than any team LeBron has seen in the 1st round so I don't think this is an automatic victory.

Eastern Ballot:

76ers
Pacers
Nets
Wizards

I struggled with the last two votes, and went with my gut.  My gut really likes Kevin Durant, and is impressed by Aldridge / Granger.

My picks were the same but for one. I had Knicks over Nets.

Kings ballot for the Eastern Conference went

76ers - probably a sweep
Pacers - tougher than they would have liked but take it in 6 games
Nets - in seven in a whale of a series that got TNT gigantic rating in the metro NY area. Durant goes off for 45 in MSG in game 7 and Nets get the upset.
Bulls - another helluva seven game series that comes down to homecourt. Bulls pull out a squeaker at home in game 7.
