Phoenix wins most underrated team so far.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

I don't see a single one of those guys that's going to keep John Salmons in check

Edgar will be pleased to hear it.  Tony Allen got the nickname "Trick Or Treat", but John Salmons deserved it.  I don't think I've ever seen such an up and down player.

It's funny how perceptions change.  Edgar had Jamison and Salmons, and people derided his team.  Yet, somehow, you rode those two, Baron Davis, and a couple of rookies to a title because people loved Dwight Howard (who is now at the helm of a last place team).

Celtic fan hate for Bargs could sink a Russell lead team.

Well, to be clear. I think people are voting D12's team last because Gaberk is MIA

I thought Bahku was MIA? ;)

I would have been interested in reading his press conference, but I think I would have had them last regardless.  I just didn't care for the roster construction.

It's the Laker influence.

I didn['t like the fit, but I don't think I'd have them in last by any means.

Hey, at least I had the Thunder second to last.

i honeslty don't get how people dont think okc with rondo and kobe the best backcourt in the league and will dominate any backcourt in the division don't make the playoffs..besides the outsiders rankings who had okc at 3.

okc should make the playoffs especially with all the veterans on the team with lots of late round playoff experience...

Pick 2 Heat:
Pg: Jennings/Vasquez
Sg: Wade/R. Allen/Rivers
SF: Lebron/M. Williams
PF: Bosh/Humphries
C: B. Lopez/Dalembert/Anthony

okc could have the best defensive starting 5 in the cnba and top 3 player in kobe with 5 rings..kobe don't miss the playoffs.

It just comes down to fit.  Having a ball-dominant PG next to Kobe just isn't a great idea.  It's why the Lakers have always had a low usage, shooting PG next to him (and why the Bulls had a low usage, shooting PG next to Jordan, and why the Cavs had a shooting PG next to Lebron, etc.)

Kobe and Rondo, in my mind, don't make a lot of sense as a backcourt.

just because people don;t think it's a good fit does not mean it wouldn't work.  everyone praises rondo as the guy stars want to play with because rondo will get them the ball. kobe will get plenty of shots. stars adapt with other stars.

Yeah, but Kobe doesn't need Rondo to get him the ball.  A backcourt where both guys are ball dominant and where neither is a good shooter just doesn't seem like it would work well to me.

East - West playoffs reminiscent of this years playoffs? Every first round in the west is must-read stuff.

East was tougher last year

Rondo, Nick, me...best 3 teams in the league.

ILLY 4 EVA!

The gold waistband to my left thinks elsewise.

BOOM. TURK'D

The West playoffs were so brutal that the league's best team missed the Finals.

Ya, I still feel bad that Who didn't get as far as he should've.

cue Walker Wiggle.

What? Am I supposed to point out that last season a higher seeded Magic team that also started Howard and Turkoglu got knocked off in six games by Al Horford's Atlanta Hawks.

"But you started DeMarcus Cousins they were able to start JASON COLLINS. NO COMPARISON."

P.S. I've been purposefully avoiding this thread and any publicly posted ballots. How am I doing?

ahh since when is kobe not a good shooter?

2010:  32.9% 3PT%
2011:  32.3% 3PT%

2010:  41.0% shots 16-23 feet
2011:  38.0% shots 16-23 feet

Kobe is *not* a good outside shooter, and he's getting worse.
