Kobe is a good shooter, he just takes awful shots. Does that make sense Roy? I don't think it matters in the end, because I don't see Kobe changing his game at this point.

Kobe's game is declining. He doesn't have the consistency / efficiency that he used to. He still makes things happen when the ball is in his hands, but next to Rondo those skills are greatly diminished.

kobe had the 5th highest player efficiency rating in the league! how is that not efficient? so rondo might get a few less assists big deal

Weird fact, Kobe has only shot better than 36% from 3 twice in his career.

Kobe's eFG% was 232nd in the NBA.  If you reduce his ability to make plays, you're reducing his effectiveness.

kobes never had a great pg..he can make the adjustment hes a smart guy...kobe is still one of the best players in the nba so he can adapt especially since hes not the same 25yr old kobe.. kobe eventually has to adapt and having a star pg in rondo would give kobe great reason to adapt.

Amazing that he still led his team to a 57-25 record.  Alongside players who many here would criticize as also declining precipitously like Fisher and Artest.\

Let's put all the NBA shooters in the NBA in a 3 pt shootout, winner gets $10 million.  Even money - you have to bet, does Kobe finishes top 15 or no?  Where's your money?  The bet is easy for me and it leads me to say Kobe is a very good shooter.  Don't care about stats.

Or are you more talking about his shooting ability in relation to his shot selection?

to borrow from my man bassthumper...

Fortunately for Kobe the Lakers also had Odom, Gasol, and Bynum who are quite good.

I think he's actually a decent 3 pt shooter. Problem is where he's shooting them from, and how well he's defended when he's taking them.

People have until midnight tonight to vote. I'll be tallying results then, or in the morning if I'm already asleep. (IP is out for a bit)

I sent my list to IP. Should I send it again to you, faf. Or just post it to the main board?
