You should read the voting instructions, everyone should.

Quote
2) Send the list in the following format to CB Draft Voting in the form of a personal message. (LINK)

The message should look like this:

Any ballots that were sent to me or IP personally could be disregarded.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
Here's my list (not in the proper vote format):

East:
1. 76ers - Lots of talent and solid depth around a proven superstar.
2. Knicks - Higher than most, but I really like the Duncan/Williams/Deng combination and that Gibson/Blair combo at PF is delightful.
3. Pacers - Lots hinging on how players react this upcoming season, but the talent is undeniable.
4. Bullets - The backcourt concerns me along with frontcourt depth, but Granger/Aldridge are going to be fun as hell to watch.
5. Bulls - Athletic, fast players who can space the floor and a couple of tough, annoying guys up front.
6. Nets - Questions about fit and how your frontcourt will perform kept me from ranking you higher.
7. Celtics - A nice guard rotation but a lot hinges on how Hedo/Monroe do next season, and neither is a safe bet.
8. Bucks - Better than they're getting credit for, but lacking a proven winner/leader behind Brand.
9. Heat - Sorry Bakhu; I read your press conference all the way through twice, I just don't have faith in your firepower around Carmelo.
10. Magic - CP3 is great, but fading talent at the wings and a weak frontcourt keep these guys out of the playoffs.
11. Pistons - A nice, deep collection of young talent that will win some games, but doesn't have the firepower to be elite...yet.
12. Hawks - Do Jefferson/Lewis have enough in the tank to be productive? If so, this team could exceed my expectations.

West:
1. Kings - Alright, that's a pretty [dang] good regular season team. Nice work.
2. Nuggets - Love the Johnson/Bosh/Nene combo, also love that your potentially weak PG/SF spots are backed up by competent defenders in Hill and Moute.
3. Jazz - A volatile team, especially in the backcourt, but there's no denying the talent here.
4. Trailblazers - Can Lowry sustain his pace after being a career backup? Also, why no Ersan Ilyasova?
5. Spurs - Pesky frontcourt, pesky backcourt. I like Kaman and Boozer together and think they'll be healthy, but obviously that's a big question mark for these guys.
6. Suns - Great veteran leadership and talent, but depth is a concern.
7. Cavaliers - The talent is there, but paper-thin depth...and I can't rank a team starting Ricky Rubio much higher.
8. Lakers - I may have swapped the Lakers/Cavs in my official rankings, can't remember. Anyway, I drafted much of this team's core, so I obviously think that they're talented.
9. Grizzlies - I probably underrated these guys as teams 6-9 have similar qualities, but I don't think Humphries/Hibbert can get it done.
10. Thunder - That frontcourt is one injury away from falling apart, and questions about how Kobe/Rondo can coexist without a third reliable option have me worried.
11. Mavs - Not the worst team in the conference...but you know, show up next time.

Anyway, feel free to disagree, and inappropriate personal attacks are encouraged. I probably made a few mistakes, but I feel ok with this ballot the way it is.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Here is my list.

Eastern Conference:
Pacers - Great team and balance. Have great talent on the wing, in the paint, and at the point
76ers - D Wade and a nice supporting cast
Knicks - Deron Williams and Tim Duncan, I love in the pick and roll, Really Like Deng here too
Bulls - Really like pieces around Nash but are here because I think they need more shooting
Nets - Love how the front court compliments and fits. Like Rip to bounce back and love KD
Heat - Melo and Lopez are a tough matchup. Like Karl as coach with Harris Melo and Lopez
Bullets - No one wants to see these guys in first round and could beat Philly in upset
Magic - CP3
Pistons - Nice collection of talent but no leadership and lack superstar to get them in playoffs
Celtics - No go to guy. Jameer should start w/ Hedo not Holiday. Like Horford as a 2nd guy
Bucks - No superstar, and just don't see the chemistry working out here, lack leadership
Hawks - Not enough talent here, too many guys w/ questionable character, chemistry issues?

Western Conference
Nuggets - Very balanced and talented, Bosh does better here, and like Nene, leadership only ?
Warriors - Dirk is almost unguardable. PG, SF, and C depth. Match up well with Kings.
Kings - LBJ. Who holds Lebron accountable? Billups provides leadership and is great fit here
Blazers - Amare is a stud! Players on this team have lot to prove and should be motivated
Cavaliers - Griffin and Gasol is nasty. Like Rubio with Pau. Like Gallinari spreading the floor
Thunder - Great backcourt especially defensively. Artest focused? Playoff team with backcourt
Spurs - Westbrook and Boozer is nice. like VC as starter more. Kaman healthy = good!
Grizzlies - Love Rose and Ray. Hate the PF rotation. Hibbert really a good fit with runnin Rose?
Suns - Who guards athletic PGs? Enough minutes at the 2? Kidd is only real PG. No starting SF
Mavericks - Howard and not enough that really complements him. Not a fan of their depth
Lakers - No scoring off the bench even with Arenas. Not terribly great on D or O. Leader?

Gonna be another one of those years where before next season everyone will go, " Oh man, your team was so underrated last year. You were right about Al Horford already being the best player on the Hawks and Eric Gordon is the go to scorer for a playoff team. Jrue Holiday has played off the ball successfully his entire time in the NBA. BTW, Greg Monroe was a beast this year. But no, we're not going to listen to your player evaluations this year either."

KC,

It was nothing personal. There is just a lot of "maybes" on your team. Maybe Eric Gordon is good enough to be the go to guy on a playoff team. Horford might be the best player on Atlanta but are there guys on your team as good as Josh Smith, Joe Johnson, Jamal Crawford, etc.? Your team is right there for the 8th seed but I personally don't see Boston beating out Orlando to get it. I'm just one voter though so it's nothing to fret about.

dalembert has missed like 1 game in the past 5 years he's always healthy
Pick 2 Heat:
Pg: Jennings/Vasquez
Sg: Wade/R. Allen/Rivers
SF: Lebron/M. Williams
PF: Bosh/Humphries
C: B. Lopez/Dalembert/Anthony

I also think Ty Thomas and Darko are pretty decent backups.

Good backups, but if they're starting you're in trouble. Hence the injury concerns. I also included Artest in the frontcourt there, as the SF rotation is pretty old.
