Wanna know why Roy voted me 2nd? Because he never finished reading my press release.

I think the 76ers and Blazers should get bonus points for making it to the top of their conferences the old fashioned way, without incredibly uneven trades.

Pacers and Kings should really be in jail at the moment.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Should we consider putting an asterisk on the Celtics banner while we're at it?

Naw the Celtics gave up *some* value.  :P

This year is a prime example of why we need vetoes in this game.

It was reinstated half way through, and I know of at least one trade that didn't go through.

The veto process didn't seem to go public, despite some questionable trades after.

It was reinstated after several trades more egregious than the one that finally convinced IP that he had to do something.

I wish he'd done so earlier.

Regardless - if MGent was being serious - you can't penalize teams for making good trades.

Different in so many ways.

There's not even contracts in this league, there's no reason for trades not to be fair.  You and the Hawks' GM didn't play basketball together on the Pacers back in the day right?

This was my ballot.

If including my team (Phoenix Suns) in the rankings, I would have had them 3rd in the West.

Sixers
Bullets
Bulls
Knicks
Nets
Pistons
Celtics
Bucks
Magic
Heat
Hawks

Western Conference

Kings
Blazers
Jazz
Nuggets
Warriors
Thunder
Spurs
Cavs
Grizzlies
Mavs
Lakers

I agree. We're evaluating team's not GMs here.

But you can lobby for better rules and more vigorous enforcement of those rules.

I Sincerely disagree, there were many worse deals than the ones we made.  Nick and I actually found it very difficult to trade given our draft position
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

I never said you guys should be penalized.  I just have a different concept of what constitutes a good trade.  Trades that manage to improve both teams without uneven value are much more impressive in my mind.  Obviously that has nothing to do with how good your team is at the end.

Well we in LA think the Conspiracy have a much more balanced squad than those teams in Oklahoma and San Antonio...
